Shalima, a University of Cape Town alumna, obtained her Theatre and Performance degree after training at AFDA and the Waterfront Theatre School. She has showcased her talent in various productions such as “The Crucible,” playing Tituba under Clare Stopford’s guidance, “Cincinnati,” where she took on the role of Thembsie directed by Jacqui Singer, and her skillful portrayal of multiple characters in “Our Country’s Good.”
Shalima has left a lasting impression in the film industry, showcasing her skills in movies such as “Justice Served,” “Diamond City,” and “Rage,” where she portrayed the character Sihle with great depth. In addition to her on-screen work, she showcased her versatility in voice acting, contributing her talents to projects for well-known brands such as Lays and Discovery.
