Gauteng: The Hollywoodbets Super League Awards met expectations, honouring South Africa’s top female footballers and officials for their hard work and dedication during the 2024 season.

Held at the star-studded Vodacom Dome in Midrand, the event celebrated the remarkable growth and strength of women’s football in South Africa. Broadcast live on SABC 1, the awards highlighted how the sport is emerging as a powerful force, positioning itself at the forefront of the nation’s sporting landscape.
The awards also served as a testament to the high standards displayed throughout a season packed with thrilling, non-stop action. Hollywoodbets Super League champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies once again raised the bar, securing their fourth title dominantly and setting a powerful example of excellence.

The spotlight wasn’t solely on Sundowns Ladies; players and officials were honored for their outstanding achievements, highlighting the collective effort propelling the Hollywoodbets Super League to new heights.

All the categories were fiercely contested, and everyone should be proud of the work they put in. Congratulations to all the nominees and to the winners, as this is a celebration of your success. We would also like to give special mention to all the people who worked behind the scenes at SAFA, Hollywoodbets, SABC, the clubs, officials and the players, and not just tonight, but throughout the season,” said SAFA CEO Lydia Monyepao.
