The University of the Western Cape (UWC) delivered a commanding performance against Young Buffaloes, winning 6-0 on Thursday, thereby securing a place in the final against Gaborone United at the CAF Women’s Champions League | Cosafa Qualifiers in Malawi.
United previously secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Herentals Queens in the initial semifinal match held at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre.
The University of the Western Cape achieved a decisive victory over Young Buffaloes with a score of 6 to 0. The goals were scored by Nondumiso Manengela in the 9th minute, Bongeka Gamede in the 26th minute, Ntombifikile Ndlovu in the 62nd minute, Tiffany Kortjie in the 74th minute, Koketso Mamabolo in the 78th minute, and Sibulele Holweni in the 90th minute from a penalty.
